Adam + Agnes | Beautiful Hawaiian Wedding

Every wedding photographer loves to photograph a destination wedding, especially in a nice warm, tropical place (especially during the cold winter months!)  Well, of course I am no exception so when Agnes asked me to photograph her wedding in Maui I was (not so secretly) jumping for joy.
I mean we’re talking about Hawaii here.  Wooo hoooo!!!

After a looooooooong couple of flights, I finally arrived at dusk and even from what little I could still see, it was breathtaking.   Agnes and Adam picked me up, along with her parents and his grandparents.  The entire family made me feel welcome and at ease right away.

The next afternoon, I left my little hotel room and went off to meet Agnes and Adam.   I was immediately stuck by what a gorgeous couple they are.
They were going to make my job easy.  :-)
Once they were dressed and ready, we headed off to the beach.  ”Big Beach” actually.
We took our photos, hopped back into the limo and proceeded to the ceremony site. The ceremony took place at the Sugarman Estates in Maui.  As you’ll see in the photos it was a beautiful location with spectacular views.  I don’t think I’ve seen a more gorgeous ceremony ever.

Please enjoy the (way too many) photographs that follow and experience a little bit of Hawaii for yourself!

Agnes and Adam’s Hawaiian Teaser!

Here is a little teaser from the wedding I photographed in Maui Hawaii.  I hope you love it as much as I do!
Make sure you come back soon, when I post the full wedding!  :-)

Highlights from Hawaii

On January 7th, I had the honour of photographing a destination wedding in Hawaii.  Hawaii was as spectacular as I imagined it would be and while I wasn’t there long enough to take it all in, some things really amazed me.

The first thing I notice when I got there at dusk, was how breathtaking the weather was.  It was warm and just slightly humid.  The kind of warmth that allows you to not wear a sweater outside at night.  The days were just as fabulous too, with enough heat to feel comfortable in a bathing suit but not so much that you were seeking out air conditioning.
The other thing I noticed was that despite the fabulous weather, there were almost no bugs.  Seriously.  That’s right.  I came home with not one mosquito bite, nor a black fly bite and while there were bees, they seemed to stay on the flowers and not hover over the garbage cans.

I am still editing the wedding, so I won’t be posting those photos just yet, however, I did have the opportunity to capture some of the gorgeous scenery with my ipod, and thought I would share some of it with you.   If you’ve friended me on facebook you probably have seen these, and then some but for those of you who haven’t please enjoy some of my favorites.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays from my family to yours.
May the new year be full of happiness, and opportunity and may you achieve your hearts desire!
