Christmas at our house!

I love Christmas!  I love the lights, the colours, the Christmas spirit.
Every year I spoil my children with way too many gifts, and I try to make it a time they will cherish for always, and never forget.

To me there is something magical about it.  It’s a time when even adults are allowed to believe in something more.
I embrace this time of year, with great enthusiasm and hope for a better new year.

Here are some photos of our house, this Christmas season.  I do hope these pictures will put you in the Christmas spirit, regardless of your religious beliefs.

Sneak Peek – Ashley and Nick

This is probably one of the most exciting engagement sessions I’ve ever worked on!  I love everything vintage and this 1950′s mad men themed session just rocks my world!
This is a great example of what couples can do when they take an active role in planning their engagement session!
Ashley and Nick were looking for images that would be completely different from their wedding photos, and I’m pretty sure they’ve achieved it!

My Dear Friend Amber

Amber Richmond Williams is a dear friend and colleague of mine.  I’ve known Amber for over 5 years now and she is not only a fabulous photographer, but one of my best friends.
Yesterday, we ventured out into the mildest day of February that I can ever recall, and decided to take some new headshots for one another.
What struck me about her as a photographer was her ability to make me laugh.  Few people can truly get a good smile out of me while I’m in front of the camera.

Here are my favorite images of Amber taken yesterday by me.   Hopefully she won’t mind, but at the end of these beautiful photos I want to share one little montage of the Amber I know and the Amber who makes me laugh.   (Love ya Amber!)
