Fabulous Chinese Wedding at Oakview Terrace!

If you are an avid follower of my blog, you may remember the stunning Niagara-On-the-Lake engagement session we had back in July.  Well, that fabulous couple recently tied the knot at the gorgeous Oakview Terrace.

This venue was absolutely beautiful, with it’s own little outdoor chapel and gardens.  In fact this venue was so sought after that the bride and groom booked their wedding date there, over two years ago (and don’t tell anyone, but they weren’t even engaged yet!)

This wedding was so incredible and the couple…..AMAZING.  I must tell you that this couple holds a very special place in my heart.  The wedding was a traditional Chinese wedding, in some respects, including the traditional Chinese games and tea ceremony.   This was the first time that Lisa and I had been invited to photograph the game playing part of the day, and what a hoot that was!

The bride and groom also took part in an “evolution of dance” dance, during their introductions.  While they do admit that this part was a little nerve wracking, they did an amazing job and obviously had great fun doing it!

Here are some of my favorites from their day.  (Please forgive the abundance of images.  It was a 12 hour day and narrowing down these images to just a few, was way too difficult!)

Hi there – just wondering if those shots with the wedding party taken infront of red brick walls were taken at Oakview Terrace as well?

    Hi Samantha!

No, those photos were taken in downtown Unionville.
