Today is my last full day here in Jamaica and it’s been such a fabulous experience! Today it’s about 28 degrees. It’s sunny and there is a light breeze coming in off of the ocean. There’s a lot of laughter echoing in the hallways and an overall feeling of peace in the faces of everyone who walks by.
I’m sitting in the hotel lobby typing this blog entry and wondering why everyone doesn’t choose to get married this way. If you are considering having a destination wedding in a tropical paradise such as this, let me help you in your decision making process. JUST DO IT!
A wedding is a beautiful celebration of marriage, and I can’t imagine a better way to celebrate than in a gorgeous destination such as this. The tropics have a kind of magic all their own.
If you are considering a destination wedding though, I do suggest hiring an experienced wedding planner to help you in the process. If there is one thing I’ve learned on this trip it’s that there is a tonne of planning and execution involved in making this kind of magic, and a good wedding planner will help you not only stay organized but will have the contacts and resources to execute all that is required to make it seem effortless to you. This wedding was put together by Jennifer Borgh of Jennifer Borgh Events http://jenniferborghevents.com/ and she did an absolutely fabulous job!
While I wont be posting any photos from this wedding for a little while still, I do want to share some pictures I took at the resort.
These photos were taken at the Gran Bahia Principe resort in Runaway Bay Jamaica. All images are copyright Jennifer Images and may not be used without specific permission.
