“I spoke to Calum and we would prefer to re-schedule – I’m so sorry to have to do this again! We really would prefer a sunny day” read Lana’s email.
We must have re-scheduled this session three times due to the threat of rain! Lana and Calum finally decided that rain or shine, this engagement session was going to happen.
To prepare, Lana checked with the Old Mill in Toronto, to see if they would allow us to do their engagement session there….. inside, as a backup location for rain. Since Lana and Calum are going to be getting married there in October the Old Mill gave us their blessing.
Sure enough, the threat of rain was imminent again! We decided to head down a little earlier than we’d originally planned to see if we could beat the rain.
Since it hadn’t started raining yet we thought we would start our session outside. We soon discovered a great little park just beyond the Mill and really lucked out, having the entire session prior to the rain fall! Calum brought his guitar and we all had a wonderful time. I love the relaxed atmosphere the guitar brought to the pictures.
Of course it did end up raining, about 5 minutes after I put my keys in the car to come home. 🙂
Here are some of the days prettiest pics!
